This past week, I was supposed to give an oral presentation to my english class.

_______ 10 POINTS: ARTICULATION OF WORDS

_______ 10 POINTS: LACK OF NERVOUSNESS

_______ 5 POINTS: INTRODUCTION

_______ 5 POINTS: CONCLUSION

_______ 5 POINTS: PROFESSIONALISM

_______ 5 POINTS: LACK OF UNTIMELY PAUSES

_______ 5 POINTS: LACK OF SLANG WORDS (ie. like, um, thing)


Well, me being an idiot, I didn't prepare well enough. I stood in front of the class feeling confident, only to forget nearly everything I had written. I had to go off my head, but that didn't work as I had planned. I wanted to bury myself in the floor. It was dreadful with a capital "D". I don't need to get into the grade...

The next day my dad found out via the internet. Well, he wasn't happy and proceeded to yell at me. It was rather surprising and strange, he usually doesn't go off on me. We spent the rest of the night not speaking, it was horrible.


So much for my first blog...

doesn't sound like fun I hate oral presentations

i did a oral presentation last week i was sooooo nerves but i got a 97% so im no longer scared. here are some tips
A) practice on your folks
B)reveiw the book for 10 minutes
C)suck up to teacher (just kidding)
